Randy Naito, CPA, CA


As the founder of the practice, Randy is the driving force behind the firm.  With years of experience in the industry, he brings expertise and a deep understanding of Canadian income tax and accounting.


Focus Areas


Randy oversees the professional aspects of the practice.  He provides professional accounting services across a wide range of industries, but his true passion lies in Canadian income tax.  Throughout his career, he has guided clients through transactions, including the sale of their corporations (or a portion of their shareholdings), sales of businesses, and corporate share and business reorganizations.  As the cornerstone of the firm, he manages high-level client relationships and leads the team in offering tailored, expert solutions to complex tax and accounting challenges.


Other Information


Randy was born and raised in Kelowna.  Prior to founding the practise, he was a member of the tax group at Deloitte and Touche (now Deloitte) in Vancouver, and BDO Dunwoody (now BDO) in Kelowna.

 

Randy has served as a group study leader for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) In-Depth Tax Course and delivered tax courses for the B.C. Institute of Chartered Accountants.


(The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) was the national organization representing Chartered Accountants (CAs) in Canada prior to the unification of the CA, CGA, and CMA designations into the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.)

 

Randy coached in Kelowna’s Minor Hockey Association at the rep level for 15 seasons.  He is passionate about travel, enjoying the opportunity to explore new places and cultures.  One of his favourite aspects of traveling is discovering the unique culinary experiences each destination has to offer.

Spencer Naito, CPA, TEP, EPC


Spencer is a dedicated accountant with a focus in Canadian taxation, serving clients in Kelowna and across British Columbia.  As a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP), and an Elder Planning Counsellor (EPC) he brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to helping individuals and businesses navigate the complexities of tax planning, financial management, and estate planning.


Focus Areas


Spencer provides Canadian income tax and accounting services to clients across many industries, with a specialized focus on healthcare professionals, such as doctors, dentists, and other medical providers.  Having several medical professionals within his extended family, he has gained knowledge and expertise in the entire lifecycle of medical careers within Canada.  From medical/dental school to residency (and CARMS matching) to starting and/or purchasing a practice, he has experienced this all firsthand.


Other Information


Spencer serves as a facilitator for the CPA Western School of Business – Taxation Module.  Having benefited from exceptional mentors throughout his own CPA journey, he is committed to giving back by helping guide others through the CPA program.

 

He is also enrolled in various machine learning courses, as he feels A.I. will have a massive impact across all industries for years to come.

Chris Naito


Chris is the heart and soul of our office, ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.  With a keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence, she keeps the day-to-day operations of the office organized and on track.  Her dedication to making sure that all administrative tasks are handled efficiently allows the rest of our team to focus on providing quality service to our clients.


Focus Areas


As the office administrator, Chris is responsible for coordinating appointments, managing communication, overseeing client records, and handling maintenance of our technology.  Her organizational skills are vital in maintaining a well-functioning office environment, ensuring that all client needs are met promptly and professionally.  


Other Information


Chris is an avid traveler and spends some of her leisure time planning the next great adventure.  Some of her favourite destinations to date include the Galapagos Islands, Portugal, Iceland, and Patagonia.



 



Shubhpreet Kaur


Shubhpreet is an essential member of our accounting team, providing valuable support to our office.  She plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial processes.


Focus Areas


As a staff accountant, Shubhpreet assists in preparing financial information, tax returns, and reconciling accounts.  Her dedication to accuracy and commitment to learning continue to contribute to the efficiency and success of our office.


Other Information


Currently enrolled at Okanagan College, Shubhpreet is diligently working through prerequisite courses to begin the CPA program.  Her passion for advancing her career and expanding her knowledge is evident in her strong work ethic and enthusiasm for professional growth.
